Cardiac Wellness Program

HAVE A
HEALTHY HEART

For the more than 1 in 3 Americans faced with cardiovascular disease, maintaining a healthy heart is a daily effort. Education and supervised exercise is a great way to combat the dangers of heart disease.

The Y’s Cardiac Wellness program is for anyone recently finished with a medically supervised cardiac rehabilitation program who would like to continue working towards a healthy lifestyle.

• Join the group whenever you are ready.

• Learn to exercise in a gym setting with others just like them. Along the way, they will become educated about improving their health and well-being through topics of their choice.

• Each week includes two exercise and learning sessions focused on nutrition and strength training.

• Those who complete the entire eight-week experience will be eligible to apply for
membership to the Y with no joining fee.
