Membership Rates
A YMCA membership
can do wonders for your heart. The YMCA has been in Central Kentucky for 150 years. But there has never been a more exciting time to become
a member.
A YMCA membership
has many benefits to start with, like health, family fun and social interaction – all in an atmosphere that
stresses core values like respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. Because the Y is a place for everybody, we offer a sliding scale financial assistance program
to help individuals and families with a demonstrated need. It’s just another way your YMCA builds strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Membership
Categories
We offer a variety of membership categories: Adult (19+), Household (up
to two adults and dependent children living in the same household), Youth
(6 months-13 years), Teen (14-18), College Student (full-time only), Senior
Adult (65+), and Senior Household (one person in the household must be
65+).
Citywide Membership
Citywide membership allows you to access all three YMCA of Central Kentucky facilities.

Joining Fees are a one-time fee provided your membership remains current. Should your membership lapse more than 30 days; another joining fee will be charged. Joining fees are used to fund the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment utilized by our members. Currently 25% of the joining fee payment is tax deductible.
Household memberships: Up to two adults and dependent children living in the same household. Additional adults living in the household can be added at one half the membership fee for which they would qualify as an individual. “Dependent” implies tax dependent, blood relative or dependent child through marriage. Verification of address required.
Methods of Payment: Electronic Fund Transfer: This convenient payment method consists of a once per month debit from your savings or checking account, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Annual Payment: Dues may be paid in full upon joining and yearly thereafter. Payment is accepted via cash, check or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover).
Returned Payment Fee: A fee of $15 will be charged for returned checks and electronic fund transfers.
Financial Assistance Available for Membership and Programs – Applications may be picked up at any YMCA Member Services.
Prospective Members (In Town)
Do you know someone who is interested in joining the YMCA? Ask them to
come in and have a staff member take them on a tour of the facility. After
completing the tour, they can receive a one-day prospective member pass.
Your friend will need to provide a Photo ID and be entered into our computer
system. Prospective members can only use this service one time per year.
We will no longer sell daily passes to anyone living within 50 miles of
Lexington.
Guest Passes
Your YMCA membership includes 5 guest passes per
year to share with family and friends. You must accompany your guest at
the time of their visit. Photo ID required for all guests. Our hope is
after their visit your guest will want to join you as a YMCA member.
Member Guests (Out of Town)
Out of town visitors (more than 50 miles) can accompany members by paying
a daily guest fee. $5 for 18 and under, $10 for 19 and over, and $15 for
a family. Photo ID required. Guest access may be limited during peak hours
Membership
Transfers
Your YMCA of Central Kentucky membership is transferable to any of our
three YMCA branches or can be easily upgraded to a citywide membership.

Membership Cancellation
Membership cancellation requires a minimum of 15 days WRITTEN notice. After receiving written notification, your electronic fund transfer will be cancelled. Please check your account statement to make sure your electronic fund transfer has been stopped. Annual members who cancel will have the balance of their membership fees refunded after receiving written notice of the cancellation.
Lost and Found
All items turned in to “Lost and Found” will be held for two
weeks. After that, items will be disposed of or given to charity.
