The YMCA has lasted in a world where so much comes and goes quickly. The YMCA of Central Kentucky is stable, values-based, professionally managed, in touch with public sentiment, and capable of meeting the changing conditions and needs of the future. The YMCA is a gift we received – that was here when we were born. It is a gift we should give to those still unborn to perpetuate values that really matter.

Friends of the YMCA help to extend its influence beyond their own lifetimes with gifts of assets they accumulated. Such gifts can be directed to support the overall work of the YMCA or can be designated to support a specific YMCA branch or program.

The nation’s tax laws provide incentives that encourage philanthropy, recognizing the role charitable organizations (including the YMCA) play in meeting important, society needs.
