  • The University of Kentucky volunteer fair for students and faculty will be held on September 8 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the courtyard next to the student center.
  • The grand opening of the Legacy Trail will be celebrated on Sunday, September 12 with a Y Family Fun Fest at the North Lexington Family YMCA. The event will be held from 1 -5 p.m. and will include FREE activities for the whole family, including a bike rodeo, bike decorating, relay races, music, games, child ID kits and more! Free and open to the public.

  • Y staff will be volunteering for the Lexington Humane Society on September 17 from 6-8 p.m.  

  • The Lexington Public Library Central Branch is holding an open house on September 18 from 2-4 p.m. The event will include storytelling, crafts and free books. This event is free and open to the public. 

  • The World Equestrian Games will be held September 25 to October 10. The Y will be opening the doors to guests and participants. Just bring your participant ID or event ticket to any of the Lexington branches and use the facilities for free during the Games.
