FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.
NEW! HALF DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The Jessamine County YMCA Preschool Program focuses on age appropriate skills, large motor development and an emphasis on kindergarten readiness in a nurturing and safe environment. We will also sing songs, play games, have craft and fitness time. Preschool will be held at the YMCA on Maple Street. Young children ages 3 to 5, create understanding and knowledge actively. Combining new concepts and ideas into what they already know. Research on brain development and how young children learn has demonstrated the phenomenal place at which learning takes place from the moment of birth. To grow and learn, young children need early education settings that support the development of the full range of capacities that serve as a foundation for future learning.
