Health and Wellness Specialist

Responsible for helping members explore their health and well-being and find programs appropriate for their goals. Duties include: calling new members, discussing goals with members, giving tours, and tracking member progress statistics on the computer. The right candidate will provide customer service by having exceptional listening skills along, being approachable and friendly to all. Requires oral and written communication skills. Must also have appropriate computer skills.

Part-time
Pay: $7.69 per hour

Lifeguard
Certified individual needed to ensure safety of patrons in aquatic environment. Life Guarding, routine maintenance duties and customer service duties included. Must be 16 years of age or older, be a certified Lifeguard, with First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Position also requires excellent swimming skills plus a varied aquatic background.

Part-time (Day, night, & weekend shifts)

Pay: $8.15 per hour

Swim Instructors
Individual needed for direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students is swim lessons. The position is primarily responsible for teaching all levels of the YMCA swim lessons programs. Must be 16 years of age or older, current and valid, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer and a YMCA Lifeguard certification recommended. Certification of YMCA Swim Lesson Certification or W.S.I is preferred. Position also requires excellent swimming skills plus a varied aquatic background. Must be able to provide good public relations with children and adults.

Member Services Staff
Responsible for communicating necessary information to the members pertaining to policies and procedures. Duties include: answering phones; assisting with membership questions; concerns and tours; membership sales; program registration; and computer data entry. Will provide exemplar service by being open, friendly and approachable to members of a diverse population. Requires computer, written and oral communication skills. Individual must be detail oriented, friendly and out going.

Part-time

Pay: $7.25 per hour
