The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.

 

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side by side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

 

One of our members, Olivia, says it best, “My husband was laid off and has to take ANY part-time job to help cover our bills. I work, but we’re struggling to make ends meet and child care is a big expense for our family. We were so relieved to learn that the Y has financial assistance, I really don’t know what my family would do without the Y. Not only are the teachers the best, but I really feel like they care about my kids and our situation. They LISTEN!”
